How does the ICG raise up new churches?
There is actually more than one way this can be and is done. I
will give you the method from the viewpoint and practice of the Web Site
Office.
At the EA web site is a Literature Order form. On this form is a
clickable box where the requestor may as for information regarding a
local church. If we have an established ICG within 25 miles of the
requestor, we give them all the contact information. If there is
no ICG church near them, we notify them of this fact and then outline
how we will establish one in their town or region.
We keep a record of every inquiry for a local church. When we have
three or more households within a 25-mile radius, we turn this
information in to Headquarters. They, in turn, assign it to the
nearest minister to that location, along with the Area Coordinator over
that area and they set up an organizational meeting in the form of a
Sabbath Service and/or Public Bible Study or Campaign.
Headquarters does a mailing regarding this event to all on the Mailing
List in the nearby zip codes.
Keep in mind that only God can truly establish a local ICG church and He
does this by Godly Calling of the potential members who will be in that
congregation. It all begins with Godly Calling. The church
itself, cannot make a church happen. See the Minister's Notebook
piece on, "Numbers, Numbers,
Numbers!!".
