You keep from feeling jealous by simply immersing
yourself into the word of God. Notice.
1 Samuel 2:7-9
7 The LORD maketh poor, and maketh rich: he bringeth low, and lifteth
up.
8 He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth up the beggar from
the dunghill, to set them among princes, and to make them inherit the
throne of glory: for the pillars of the earth are the LORD'S, and he
hath set the world upon them.
9 He will keep the feet of his saints, and the wicked shall be silent in
darkness; for by strength shall no man prevail.
Psalm 49:16
Be not thou afraid when one is made rich, when the glory of his house is
increased;
Proverbs 10:2-4
2 Treasures of wickedness profit nothing: but righteousness delivereth
from death.
3 The LORD will not suffer the soul of the righteous to famish: but he
casteth away the substance of the wicked.
4 He becometh poor that dealeth with a slack hand: but the hand of the
diligent maketh rich.
Proverbs 22:16
He that oppresseth the poor to increase his riches, and he that giveth
to the rich, shall surely come to want.
Proverbs 28:6
The prince that wanteth understanding is also a great oppressor: but he
that hateth covetousness shall prolong his days.
Proverbs 28:20
A faithful man shall abound with blessings: but he that maketh haste to
be rich shall not be innocent.
Jeremiah 9:23
Thus saith the LORD, Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, neither
let the mighty man glory in his might, let not the rich man glory in his
riches:
1 Timothy 6:17
Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded,
nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us
richly all things to enjoy;
Proverbs 14:30
A sound heart is the life of the flesh: but envy the rottenness of the
bones.
Galatians 5:26
Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one
another.
Psalm 37:8
Cease from anger, and forsake wrath: fret not thyself in any wise to do
evil.
James 3:14-16
14 But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not,
and lie not against the truth.
15 This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual,
devilish.
16 For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil
work.
Exchange the envy and jealousy for wisdom and joy. Exchange the
envy and jealousy for concerted effort to your plan for peace and
prosperity.
Philippians 4:11
Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned,
in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content.
Hebrews 13:5-6
5 Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with
such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor
forsake thee.
6 So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear
what man shall do unto me.
Luke 3:14
And the soldiers likewise demanded of him, saying, And what shall we do?
And he said unto them, Do violence to no man, neither accuse any
falsely; and be content with your wages.
Matthew 6:31-34
31 Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall
we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?
32 (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly
Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.
33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all
these things shall be added unto you.
34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take
thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil
thereof.
Give up the jealousy and focus on your journey to prosperity.
