SUBJECT: Fear
QUESTIONS: What can I do to combat the fear I have about
the end time and the Great Tribulation? What can I do to
overcome fear of the present?
ANSWER:
Fear is a typical and understandable emotion. However,
through the power of the Holy Spirit, fear can be cast out.
The Holy Spirit in us, can overcome any human emotion or
thought. It imparts peace in the face of death.
Notice this verse:
Revelation 21:8
But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and
murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters,
and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which
burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.
Note: The fearful will
not be in the Kingdom of God, so it is important to overcome
all fear. Scripture says that love (a fruit of the
Spirit) casts out all fear.
Romans 8:31
What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us,
who can be against us?
Note: God is saying that
there is nothing to be afraid of (except Him).
