Now some verses:
Mark 4:2

them in his doctrine,

And the scribes and chief priests heard it, and sought how
they might destroy him: for they

fellowship, and in breaking of
bread, and in prayers.

1 Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of
Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the
foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith
toward God,
2 Of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands,
and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment.
3 And this will we do, if God permit.
Note: This verse often
referred to as the 6 basic doctrines scripture:
1. Repentance from dead works.
2. Faith toward God.
3. Baptism.
4. Laying on of hands.
5. Resurrection of the dead
6. Eternal judgment.
There is actually a 7th doctrine there...
7. Going unto perfection..............overcoming
sin...........becoming like Christ.

THEREFORE: From the Bible comes our doctrine. The Bible
is our doctrine and learning and teaching.
Our doctrinal statements, booklets, sermons and television
